Review of Honda HR-V Overview Overview Honda Motor Co Ltd. is a Japanese automaker which established itself in the year 1959. In 2001 Honda became the second largest Japanese automobile manufacturer and eighth largest automobile manufacturer in the world. Honda HR-V is a mini crossover SUV with 5-door body style and being produced since 1999. Currently it is in its second generation and made its debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show as a concept car while the production model was unveiled later at the 2014 LA Auto Show. It also shares its platform with the third generation Honda Fit. This mean machine is powered by a robust 1.8 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine which is mated with a six speed manual transmission gearbox. This powerful engine generates a maximum power of 141 PS at 6500 rpm to provide you an effortless cruising along with a commanding torque of 172 Nm at 4300 rpm to deliver fast acceleration and a good pulling power. Further it can zoom to an acceleration of 100 kmph from a position of halt in just 11.4 seconds while the top speed which it is able to attain clocks at 201 kmph.
