Mazda CX-5 SKYACTIV Features
The all-new CX-5’s KODO - Soul of Motion design were tweaked to achieve a sportier, more dynamic look. It now has a bolder grille and matching fog light bezels, new front and rear full LED lights, and redesigned alloy wheels.
The interior exudes refinement, space, and comfort with quality materials and high-tech features. Aside from the standard leather seats and electronic dual-zone air-conditioners, the highlight of the CX-5’s interior is the MZD Connect. It works with a smartphone for hands-free and voice-activated connectivity system to cloud-based apps, maps, social media, entertainment, SMS, and e-mail.
The CX-5’s 2.0L and 2.5L SKYACTIV-G engines have the highest compression ratio (14.0:1) for any gasoline engine. It equates to more power, torque, and improved fuel economy. The Mazda CX-5 also has a 2.2L SKYACTIV-D variant (as in diesel) in the Philippines. It’s paired with the SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission for a more spirited drive. Meanwhile, the SKYACTIV body and chassis ensures that it’s a safe and sturdy vehicle.
The all-new CX-5 is equipped with G-Vectoring Control, which improves handling and stability when cornering. It also has i-STOP Idle Stop System, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive LED Headlamps.
