Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Features
Considered as the world's longest running continuously produced sports car, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has finally arrived in the country. The iconic two-seat American coupe that's branded as one of America's best-selling sports car can now be owned and driven by Filipino sports car fans. The Corvette badge first came out in January 17, 1953 in a form of fiberglass-bodied two-seat car at the General Motors Motorama exposition in New York City. The 65-year-old coupe's arrival in the country buys Chevrolet Philippines and The Covenant Car Company Inc. a ticket to the tightly-competed exotic coupe segment. For the local market, the Corvette will be marketed as a one-variant model, which is the Stingray. The Corvette Stingray hides inside a 6.2-liter V8 engine with a maximum power output of 455 hp and 621 Nm of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission transmits power to the rear axles for that authentic sports car driving dynamics, with 19-inch and 20-inch wheels on the front and rear, respectively.
